Vacancy

Vacancy for a Priest in Charge

We are a congregation in a long established Scottish Episcopal Church, founded in 1840, in the Diocese of Moray Ross and Caithness. We seek a Priest in Anglican orders, with good leadership and pastoral skills, to build on the talents and abilities within our congregation, to develop our witness as well as our Christian role with all ages in the community and within wider Diocesan initiatives.

Our worship is Eucharistic, supported by a Deacon and a team of Lay Eucharistic Ministers, together with an excellent Organist and Choir.

We offer a well kept, much loved and recently restored building. In addition, the rectory (a detached five bedroomed house, adjacent to the church) has been recently refurbished and decorated. There is ample off-road car parking and a well established and spacious garden. We are located at the East End of the town of Forres, opposite the sylvian ambience of Grant Park with its well maintained formal gardens and attractive woodlands. We are very close to schools, with excellent transport links, within a lively community and close to beautiful countryside.

There is a short slide show showing views of the Rectory, both from the outside and inside, further down this webpage.
